## Description

The Director of Supply Chain & Procurement is responsible for leading procurement, sourcing, inventory planning, vendor management, and supply chain operations. This role works closely with manufacturing, service, warehouse, and leadership teams to ensure materials and components are available to support production and customer service requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead company procurement and supply chain operations
-   Develop sourcing strategies for materials, parts, equipment, and supplies
-   Manage supplier relationships and vendor performance programs
-   Negotiate pricing, contracts, and purchasing agreements
-   Oversee inventory planning and replenishment activities
-   Monitor supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities
-   Collaborate with production and operations teams to support manufacturing schedules
-   Evaluate procurement processes and implement cost-saving initiatives
-   Manage supply chain budgets and purchasing controls
-   Develop forecasting and inventory management strategies
-   Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
-   Prepare operational reports and recommendations for leadership
-   Lead and develop procurement, inventory, and supply chain personnel

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field

-   5+ years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or operations management
-   Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement practices
-   Experience negotiating vendor contracts and supplier agreements
-   Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
-   Excellent communication and leadership abilities
-   Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

### Preferred Requirements

-   Experience in manufacturing, transportation, industrial equipment, or related industries
-   Knowledge of production planning and inventory forecasting
-   Experience implementing process improvement initiatives
-   Professional certifications related to procurement or supply chain management are a plus
