Amazing Athletes Colorado Springs provides fun, high-energy sports programs that help young children build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a love of being active. Our Soccer Stars program introduces soccer through age-appropriate games, imagination, and skill-building in a positive environment.

### Position Description

We're looking for an energetic and dependable **Saturday Soccer Coach** to lead our Fall Soccer Stars program at **Boddington Park**. This role focuses on coaching children ages **1–6** in small-group classes that are fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Dates are Mid-August through September.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and can confidently lead classes while adapting to different ages, personalities, and attention spans.

### Job Duties

-   Lead Saturday morning soccer classes for children ages 1–6.
-   Create a positive, energetic, and encouraging environment.
-   Teach basic soccer skills through games and imaginative activities.
-   Communicate professionally with parents before and after class.
-   Set up and pack up equipment each week.
-   Arrive prepared and on time for every session.

## Requirements

### Requirements

-   Experience teaching, coaching, or leading children ages **1–6**.
-   Comfortable leading classes independently.
-   Excellent communication and classroom/group management skills.
-   Reliable transportation and punctuality.
-   Available Saturday mornings throughout the Fall season.
-   Able to pass a background check.

### Preferred Skills & Traits

-   Soccer playing or coaching experience.
-   Early Childhood Education, teaching, recreation, or youth sports background.
-   High-energy, enthusiastic personality.
-   **Very adaptable**—able to adjust activities based on age, class size, weather, and children's attention spans.
-   Patient, encouraging, and confident with young children.
-   Self-motivated and dependable.
