## Description

Join FSC Range and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real infrastructure projects.

As an Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the planning, design and delivery of engineering solutions across a range our coastal, maritime, structures and civil teams. Working within a collaborative team, you'll gain exposure to industry leading projects while developing practical technical and professional skills.

This paid internship runs from December 2026 to February 2027 and is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience and help prepare you for a successful career in engineering.

Successful applicants will enjoy working as part of a team while demonstrating initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn.

## Requirements

**About the Role:**

As an Engineering Intern, you will:

-   Work under the supervision of experienced engineers across our coastal, maritime, structures and civil teams.
-   Support the preparation of engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project deliverables on engineering projects across Australia.
-   Undertake research, data analysis, and technical investigations to support project delivery.
-   Gain exposure to a variety of infrastructure projects and develop a strong understanding of engineering design principles.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to solving real engineering challenges.
-   Learn and apply engineering principles, Australian Standards and industry best practice.
-   Develop your technical and professional skills through mentoring and hands-on project experience.

**About You:**

You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Civil, Structural or related Engineering student currently in your penultimate or final year of study.

You will have:

-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
-   A deep care for those you work with;
-   A strong analytical mind;
-   Attention to detail with a systems and governance mindset;
-   Willingness to learn and develop your technical and professional skills;
-   Enjoy being creative and thinking of new ways of doing things;
-   Exposure to engineering software relevant to your discipline (e.g. AutoCAD, SpaceGass, MATLAB, Python, QGIS or similar); and
-   Understanding of engineering fundamentals gained through university coursework.
