## Description

**Job Description:**

Essel is currently seeking a skilled Operator to oversee remediation and demolition projects on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating heavy earthmoving and demolition equipment, capable of producing high-quality work with minimal oversight. This position requires expertise in finish grading, technical building wrecking, and processing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Operate heavy earthmoving and/or demolition equipment, including associated attachments, with minimal supervision from a Foreman or Superintendent.
-   Perform tasks efficiently and produce quality work, such as finish grading or technical building wrecking and processing.
-   Utilize more than 7 years of experience operating across various service lines to ensure project success.
-   Maintain and change out attachments for units as needed, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
-   Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including HAZWOPER certification and basic construction safety courses.
-   Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
-   Maintain equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
-   Follow project plans and specifications to achieve project goals effectively.

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

-   Minimum of 7 years of experience operating heavy earthmoving and/or demolition equipment.
-   Proficiency in operating various attachments and equipment types.
-   HAZWOPER certification and basic construction safety courses are required.
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-   Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
-   Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
