## Description

**Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)**

**Rhode Island | Remote / Telehealth**  
**Full-Time | $115,000–$120,000 per year**  
**Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM**

**Position Summary**

As an LMHC, you’ll provide virtual counseling to clients across Rhode Island who are seeking ongoing mental health support. Your work will include assessing client needs, providing individual therapy, developing treatment plans, and following progress throughout care.

You’ll support clients with a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns while maintaining clear documentation and responding appropriately when safety or crisis concerns arise.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

-   Conduct individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
-   Complete intake evaluations and mental health assessments
-   Create and update individualized treatment plans
-   Provide ongoing therapeutic support and track progress toward treatment goals
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
-   Recognize risk factors and follow appropriate procedures during crisis situations

## Requirements

-   Active LMHC license in Rhode Island
-   Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
-   At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
-   Strong experience with telehealth or willingness to work fully remote
-   Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches
-   Comfortable using EHR systems and virtual platforms
