## Description

**Physical Therapist**

**Location:** Kansas City, MO  
**Position:** Full-Time Physical Therapist  
**Salary:** $90,000–$100,000 per year

**Why This Role Is Important**

Physical therapy helps patients get back to movement that matters in everyday life. In this role, you will support patients who want to walk with more confidence, return to work, manage pain, rebuild strength, or recover after a physical setback.

As a **Physical Therapist**, you will be involved in the full patient care process, from evaluation and treatment planning to hands-on care, education, progress tracking, and discharge preparation.

**Responsibilities**

-   Evaluate new patients and gather information about pain, mobility, function, and goals
-   Develop treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
-   Provide therapy sessions that may include exercise, stretching, strengthening, balance work, manual therapy, and mobility training
-   Help patients understand their plan of care and what they can do between visits
-   Monitor progress and make updates to treatment when needed
-   Complete documentation that reflects patient progress and care provided

**Preferred Work Schedule Options**

**We offer flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following schedules:**

**Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days (Preferred)**

-   **Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday**
-   **Tuesday off each week**

**Option 2: Monday – Friday Schedule**

-   **Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM**
-   **Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM**

**Clinic Information**

-   **Patient Volume:** 7-15 patients per day
-   **Clinic Volume:** Approximately 160-190 patient visits per week
-   **Clinical Team:** 2 Physical Therapists, 2 Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
-   **EMR System:** WebPT
-   **Patient Age Range:** 11 to 90 years old
-   **Primary Caseload:** Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

## Requirements

-   DPT degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
-   Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain one
-   Experience in outpatient care, rehabilitation, or orthopedic therapy preferred
-   Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
-   Ability to work independently while remaining team-oriented
