## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Acute Medicine – Specialist / Consultant** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide timely assessment and management of patients presenting with acute and complex medical conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical conditions.
-   Provide timely clinical evaluation and initiate appropriate treatment and investigations.
-   Manage patients with complex and multiple medical conditions.
-   Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies.
-   Develop individualized treatment and management plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based practices.
-   Coordinate patient care with emergency medicine, critical care, surgery, and other medical specialties when required.
-   Work closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
-   Ensure appropriate admission, discharge, referral, and follow-up planning.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and patient records.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
-   Support high standards of patient safety and clinical care in accordance with hospital policies and guidelines.

## Requirements

-   MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Acute Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an equivalent specialty**.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a **Specialist / Consultant in Acute Medicine**.
-   Strong experience in the assessment and management of patients with acute and complex medical conditions.
-   Experience managing medical emergencies and recognizing clinical deterioration.
-   Strong knowledge of evidence-based approaches to acute medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
-   **UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, Canadian, or equivalent Western qualifications** are preferred.
-   Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
