## Description

FPC is seeking a commercially driven Investor Relations & Partnerships Associate to support the growth of its capital base across both FPC products and portfolio companies. 

This role sits at the intersection of investor relations, strategic sales, and marketing, with a clear focus on driving capital inflows and strengthening long-term investor relationships. It is designed for a high-calibre individual who is comfortable operating in a lean environment and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing platform. 

 The position is execution-led, combining hands-on delivery with exposure to fundraising, partnerships, and investor strategy. It will suit someone who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and interested in building experience across the full capital raising lifecycle.  

The primary objective of this role is to support a structured and scalable approach to investor engagement and capital raising, combining: 

-   High-quality investor communication and materials 

-   Proactive support across fundraising and partnership development 

-   Alignment of all external activity with commercial and revenue-generating outcomes 

### Core Responsibilities 

**Investor Relations & Investor Communication** 

Support the delivery of a high-quality investor experience across existing and prospective LPs. 

-   Manage investor communications, including reporting, updates, and meeting coordination 

-   Maintain investor materials, data rooms, and information flows, including administering KYC/AML processes and ensuring appropriate maintenance and escalation in line with company policies and procedures 

-   Ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to investor requests 

-   Contribute to maintaining strong, long-term investor relationships 

-   Ensure activities and communications are conducted in accordance with FCA regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies and procedures 

**Fundraising & Strategic Sales Support** 

Contribute to capital raising efforts across FPC funds and portfolio companies. 

-   Support the development and management of the fundraising pipeline 

-   Assist in sourcing, tracking, and progressing investor opportunities 

-   Prepare for and participate in investor meetings and follow-ups 

-   Support the conversion of prospects through structured tracking and consistent follow-up 

-   Maintain visibility across pipeline activity and progress against fundraising objectives 

**Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development** 

Support the identification and development of partnerships that enhance distribution and capital access. 

-   Assist in identifying and engaging potential strategic partners (LPs, advisors, distribution channels) 

-   Support the progression and management of partnership opportunities 

-   Contribute to building a structured approach to partnership development 

-   Help strengthen FPC’s position within the broader investment ecosystem 

**Investor Messaging, Materials & Positioning** 

Ensure all investor-facing content is aligned with fundraising objectives and supports capital raising. 

-   Develop and maintain high-quality investor presentations and materials 

-   Support the articulation of clear, compelling messaging around FPC’s strategy and products 

-   Ensure consistency and quality across all external communications 

-   Align materials and messaging with fundraising priorities and investor engagement 

-   Work closely with the compliance officer to ensure investor communications and materials are reviewed and approved in line with FCA requirements, financial promotion rules, and internal policies and procedures. 

**Events & Commercial Engagement** 

Support the delivery of events and external initiatives with a clear commercial focus. 

-   Lead the planning and execution of events and external engagement initiatives 

-   Ensure events are designed to support relationship development and fundraising outcomes 

-   Coordinate logistics, materials, and follow-up activity to maximise impact 

-   Track engagement and outcomes to inform future activity

## Requirements

FPC is seeking a high-quality, motivated individual with strong commercial instincts and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Experience 

-   This role is suited to an early-career professional with 2–5 years’ experience  in investor relations (preferred but not essential), capital raising, consulting, banking, or a related field or a prior FPC Super Intern 

-   Exposure to private markets (VC, PE, growth, etc.) is advantageous but not essential 

Skills & Attributes 

-   Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives 

-   Commercial mindset with an interest in strategic sales, marketing, and fundraising 

-   Highly organised with strong attention to detail 

-   Proactive and self-starting, with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes 

-   Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across stakeholders 

-   Comfortable operating in a lean team and contributing across multiple workstreams 

Additional 

-   Bachelor’s degree required 

-   Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and the investment ecosystem 

-   Experience with CRM tools, investor materials, or client-facing work is a plus
