### The E-Volunteer’s Role

Join us as an e-volunteer and become an essential part of empowering our partner organization, Fundacion SVX Colombia. You will take on the meaningful task of crafting a detailed gender policy that truly resonates with their distinct mission and vision. This exciting role involves carefully adapting the existing gender policy from our headquarters to suit the local culture, values, and specific needs of Fundacion SVX Colombia. Your valuable input will ensure that the organization’s dedication to gender equity is clearly expressed and seamlessly woven into their daily operations, helping to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

Cuso International's SHARE program partners globally to enhance economic resilience for marginalized groups. In Year 7, it will provide volunteer-led technical assistance to organizations in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, focusing on entrepreneurship, employability, TVET systems, and market-oriented skills. The program prioritizes inclusive opportunities for women, youth, LGBTQ+, migrants, refugees, and other marginalized communities, while supporting value-chain development, skills transfer, and market access initiatives.

**As an e-volunteer, you will support the organization through the following activities:**

-   Update and adapt the organization's gender policy document to ensure it remains comprehensive, inclusive, and reflective of the latest research and best practices in gender equality. This includes reviewing current policies, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and aligning with relevant legal frameworks and international standards.
-   Provide expert guidance and support on a wide range of gender-related issues pertinent to the organization's mission, ensuring that gender considerations are effectively integrated into all programs, initiatives, and decision-making processes. This involves collaborating with various departments, and promoting awareness to foster a gender-sensitive organizational culture.

**Essential Requirements:**

-   Social sciences and related disciplines focused on gender issues and public policy.
-   Bachelor's degree in international business, MBA or MA in economics, social sciences, or a related field (considered an asset).
-   Coursework in corporate social responsibility, business development, community human resources, international business, gender and development, strategic planning, gender studies and standards/practices, business and development, and inclusion.

**Essential Background:**

-   Experience in drafting documents and working on gender-related issues, especially involving policies and/or conducting workshops on the subject.
