## Description

As Inventory Lead you are responsible for overseeing and managing EMS inventory. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, optimising inventory turnover, and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely replenishment. The role also involves implementing inventory control procedures to minimise shrinkage and maximise efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our delivery team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the delivery process including scheduling and routing, tracking deliveries and resolving any issues that may arise.  

Main Duties 

-   Accountability for Stock Control against specific project requirements. 

-   Manage the return process of goods. 

-   Planning and organising services consumable delivery schedule. 

-   Source, appoint and monitor approved suppliers based on the business needs. 

-   Regular meetings with suppliers to review service. 

-   Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking or running out of stock. 

-   Tracking shipments and coordinating stock transfers. 

-   Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchases within budget. 

-   Overseeing stock storage process to ensure efficiencies in our picking system. 

-   Maintain and update daily/weekly shipment records as well as purchases and pricing reports. 

-   Ensuring all costs are captured and factored into the project budget. 

-   Support the Operations and Project Leads with all stock requirements. 

-   Track actual stock levels forecast and usage alongside monthly targets to identify opportunity for Improvement. 

-   Implement paperless processes, documents and operating procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and administration. 

-   Act as one of the main point of contact for consumables requirements. 

-   Keep internal stakeholders informed with the status of the consumable project requirements. 

-   Continually assess processes to identify areas of increased effectiveness and efficiencies. 

-   Ensure all reporting is up to date, detailed and accurate, for both client and internal purpose 

-   Ensure compliance with company and H & S policies. 

-   Ensuring the warehouse is kept up to the highest standards. 

-   Any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager.

## Requirements

Experience- Essential  

-   Demonstrated experience in managing inventory control processes, including inventory tracking, stock level monitoring, and inventory reconciliation 

-   Proven ability to analyse inventory data, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimise inventory turnover, reduce excess inventory, and minimise carrying costs. 

-   Track record of implementing inventory management best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the inventory management function. 

-   Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret inventory data, forecast demand, and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels, reorder points, and stock allocation. 

-   Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, as well as to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where multitasking and prioritisation are essential. 

-   Ability to optimise routing configurations for our delivery team to improve performance and efficiencies. 

-   Fork Lift Truck licence. 

Experience – Preferable 

-   Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. 

-   Experience working within the health sector. 

-   Track record of implementing process improvements and optimisation initiatives within the inventory management function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. 

-   Continuous improvement mindset.

Other Requirements 

Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license and have suitable transport provisions (public transport is not recommended due to location of offices)  

Able to travel throughout the UK and Overseas if required.
