## Description

Summary 

The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components and has a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature sets. The position requires the application of engineering principles to the design of sellable and internal company products.    

Core Responsibilities 

-   Component and simple assembly design  

-   Product development activities ranging from conceptual development, prototyping, and design validation to manufacturing and existing product support; individually and collaboratively  

-   Collaboration with engineers of various disciplines to develop products with electromechanical and mechanical content  

-   Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring  

-   Conduct tests, design manufacturing fixtures, support senior colleagues  

-   May include involvement in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products as required to accomplish company goals  

-   Perform other job-related duties as assigned

## Requirements

Core Qualifications 

-   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field  

-   0-3 years of related experience working in a similar role  
-   SolidWorks experience

## Benefits

The pay range of $89,000 - $95,000 per year reflects multiple levels. The final base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position offered, skills, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
