## Description

J**ob Description:**  
We are looking for an experienced **Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)** to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases across **on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms**. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and cloud database services.

### 🔧 Key Responsibilities

-   Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database environments
-   Manage database instances in **on-premise and cloud (OCI / AWS / Azure)**
-   Perform **backup and recovery using RMAN**
-   Monitor database performance and tune queries for optimization
-   Implement and manage **High Availability (HA)** solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
-   Ensure database security, patching, and compliance
-   Handle database migrations (on-prem → cloud)
-   Troubleshoot production issues and provide 24/7 support when required
-   Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting / tools
-   Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams

### 🛠️ Required Skills

-   Strong knowledge of **Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c)**
-   Expertise in **SQL, PL/SQL**
-   Hands-on experience with:

-   RMAN (backup & recovery)
-   Data Guard / RAC
-   Performance tuning (AWR, ASH reports)

-   Good knowledge of **Linux/Unix systems**
-   Experience with **cloud platforms**:

-   Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
-   AWS RDS / Azure DB (good to have)

-   Understanding of **networking, storage, and infrastructure concepts**
