## Description

**Okie Staffing** is currently hiring for **Equipment Operators** and **Streets/Water Maintenance Workers** to support municipal maintenance and infrastructure projects. These positions involve operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient city services.

**Key Responsibilities - Equipment Operators:**

-   Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks for streets and water maintenance projects
-   Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance
-   Follow work orders and safety guidelines to complete tasks effectively

**Key Responsibilities - Streets/Water Maintenance Workers:**

-   Perform manual labor tasks including pothole repair, ditch cleaning, and water line maintenance
-   Assist with setup and cleanup of work zones
-   Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Both roles require a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.

## Requirements

-   Equipment Operators require Valid driver's license; CDL preferred for Equipment Operators
-   Prior experience operating heavy equipment or performing streets/water maintenance preferred
-   Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments and various weather conditions
-   Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
-   Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
-   Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
-   Ability to pass drug screening and background check

**Heavy Equipment Operators**  
$17.50–$18.00/hr DOE

**Streets & Water Maintenance Workers**  
$15.00/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday plus weekends when needed

Overtime: Required as needed
