As a Base / Grading Foreman, you will play a key role in guiding field operations and helping crews deliver efficient, accurate grading work that meets project plans and production goals. This role is central to keeping work organized in the field, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring operators and laborers have clear direction throughout each phase of site preparation and grading.

### Responsibilities

-   Supervise daily base and grading crews to meet plans and production targets.
-   Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor for efficient site grading operations.
-   Inspect grade accuracy and site conditions to ensure quality and compliance.
-   Enforce safety procedures and conduct daily briefings for field crews.
-   Read site plans and communicate grading requirements to operators and laborers.

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   Able to work outdoors in all conditions.
-   5+ years of experience in grading or heavy civil construction.
-   Experience leading field crews and coordinating heavy equipment, including dozers, graders, and excavators.
-   Experience with fine grading and subgrade preparation.
-   Ability to read site plans, grades, and construction drawings.
-   Experience with GPS grade control.
-   Knowledge of site safety practices.
-   Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Canada.
