**What is Head of Brands – Consumer Growth?**

We are looking for a marketing leader to Head the Brands of Jazz and Veon, internally known as Jazz Consumer Growth. This person needs to strive with Passion and is willing to challenge the status quo by taking calculated risks and evolving the area of Brand Management.

As the person responsible for nurturing one of the biggest brands of Pakistan, while building new ones from scratch, it will be very important for this person to identify the right metrics to utilize marketing communication management/mix for maximum effectiveness.

**Head of Brands Consumer Growth** will have to play an integral role in identifying and then utilizing the right mix of elements and touchpoints to assist in the achievement of the overall brand strategy and objectives. They need to think beyond creation of communication etc. but focus on how to create the right brand fit and connect with the intended audience. The thought process needs to be _**beyond creating communication**_ and focusing on _**creating audience engagement**_ leading towards brand loyalty.

The **Head of Brands Consumer Growth** needs to have business acumen and the aptitude to connect across any touchpoint.

You will be part of a customer focused marketing team and collaborate across the wider team including Heads of Telecom / Consumer Growth Brands, Media & Integrated Marketing, Operations, Pricing & Segments, Sourcing etc. There will be brand partner agency to lead and inspire to achieve these objectives. You’ll focus on not just the brand insights but the business implications along with market factors, constantly evaluating the best approach.

The role reports directly to the Head of Brands Experience and has 2 people reporting directly and an additional 5 persons indirectly into it, with an extended team of ~20 team members.

**What does Head of Brands Consumer Growth do?**

-   Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

-   Developing brand strategy: work closely with the company's marketing team to develop a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
-   Managing brand positioning: oversee the development of the brand’s positioning and messaging, ensuring that it is consistent across all marketing channels.
-   Developing brand guidelines: develop and maintain brand guidelines that outline the proper use of the brand’s assets
-   Monitoring brand performance: monitor the performance of the brand across various channels and make recommendations for improvements as needed
-   Leading brand campaigns: oversee the development and execution of brand campaigns, ensuring that they are on-brand and aligned with the overall marketing strategy
-   Collaborating with other departments: collaborate with other departments within the company, such as sales, product development, segments, customer service and others, to ensure that the brand is integrated across all aspects of the business
-   Managing a team: manage a team of brand managers, brand partners, and other marketing professionals responsible for executing the brand strategy
-   Ensure excellence in all brand related activity, while continually challenging the status quo to drive actionable insights which will fuel our brand’s growth
-   Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to continuously improve brand indicators
-   Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends and opportunities and align all marketing activities accordingly
-   Budget management along with Agency performance

## Requirements

**What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Brands Consumer Growth?**

-   Experience and Educational requirements

-   Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent

-   Soft skills and technical skills required

-   You are experienced in working closely and effectively with teams and stakeholders. We need people who know the value of building relationships and the ability to support at all levels of an organization
-   Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
-   Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills are required
-   Strong skills in critical thinking, data analysis and identifying and communicating marketing and audience-led insights
-   Core aspects underpinning all skills: consumer empathy, creativity, analytical thinking, rigor, sharp and inspiring communication skills, complex project management skills, business planning, as well as working within an agile environment
-   A business thinker, who has deep understanding of 3 C’s (Consumer, Customer, Competition), trends, practices, information, and insights impacting the business, enabling sound decisions to be made.
-   Proficient in Excel, Word and Power-point

-   8+ years relevant Brand Management experience
-   In-depth understanding of marketing channels and their application to build brand awareness and customer engagement
-   Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy
-   Experience of working in a tech/start-up, Lifestyle apps, consumer goods shall be preferred
