We are looking for a skilled and dependable **Production Maintenance Technician** to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment.

**Position Summary**

The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production operations. This role works with a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and plays a key role in supporting safety, quality, and productivity goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
-   Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
-   Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
-   Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
-   Install and adjust mechanical and structural components as needed.
-   Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
-   Test equipment following repairs to verify proper operation.
-   Lubricate, clean, and inspect machinery to maximize reliability and performance.
-   Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including 120V, 208V, and 480V circuits.
-   Follow all company safety, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
-   Maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance and certification requirements.
-   Support SQF maintenance program requirements and documentation.
-   Perform additional duties as assigned.

## Requirements

**Required**

-   High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-   Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
-   Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
-   Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, and operating procedures.
-   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Good communication and organizational skills.
-   Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

**Preferred**

-   Experience in food manufacturing or other high-volume production environments.
-   Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and motor controls.
-   Experience working with conveyors, packaging equipment, and automated production machinery.

**Physical Requirements**

-   Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-   Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
-   Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
-   Ability to work in refrigerated, cold, or wet environments.
-   Manual dexterity and ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.

**Work Environment**

This position operates in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, moving machinery, noise, and food production conditions. Personal protective equipment and adherence to all safety requirements are mandatory.
