The international IT company **Intetics** is looking for an experienced **Data Governance Specialist** to join our team.

The role involves establishing and implementing enterprise data governance practices across analytics and AI initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams to improve data quality, define governance standards, manage metadata, and ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

## Requirements

### **Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and implement enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.
-   Define and maintain data quality rules, controls, and governance processes.
-   Manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage.
-   Support master data and reference data management initiatives.
-   Establish data classification, retention, and privacy policies.
-   Collaborate with business, IT, security, and data owners to improve governance practices.
-   Support governance of analytical models and AI solutions.
-   Promote data quality, compliance, and continuous governance improvements.

### **Requirements**

-   Experience implementing enterprise Data Governance frameworks.
-   Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship, and governance operating models.
-   Experience with data quality management and remediation processes.
-   Knowledge of metadata management, data catalogues, business glossaries, and data lineage.
-   Experience with master data and reference data management.
-   Understanding of data classification, privacy, and data retention principles.
-   Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
-   Ability to develop governance policies and translate them into practical implementation.

**Nice to Have:**

-   Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms.
-   Knowledge of GDPR or other data protection frameworks.
-   DAMA/CDMP or similar professional certifications.
-   Experience working with HR, Payroll, Finance, or other sensitive enterprise data.
