We are currently seeking an experienced **Language Lead** specializing in **English to Chinese (Simplified)** localization within the IT and Software domain. This leadership role is perfect for someone with a strong linguistic background and project management skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality localization solutions for software and IT products.

### Position Overview

### Responsibilities

-   Lead and manage localization projects from English to Chinese (Simplified) focusing on IT/software content.
-   Coordinate with translators, editors, and testers to ensure linguistic quality and consistency.
-   Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and translation memories tailored to IT/software localization.
-   Ensure timely delivery of projects meeting quality standards and client expectations.
-   Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address challenges and improve localization processes.
-   Provide training, guidance, and support to linguists and team members involved in projects.
-   Monitor and report on project progress, quality metrics, and resource management.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Translation, Linguistics, or a related field**.
-   Proven experience leading localization projects in the IT/software domain.
-   Native in **Chinese (Simplified)** and excellent command of English.
-   Must be located _**outside of China**_.
-   Strong knowledge of localization tools, CAT tools, and terminology management.
-   Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
-   Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively in a remote environment.
-   Passion for high-quality localization and attention to detail.
