We serve over 10 million users and process more than USD 4 billion annually. We’ve been profitable since 2022 and operate our own credit business. We are an AI-first, 100% remote team, scaling in the rapidly changing Brazilian financial market.

Our goal? Deliver the best payment experience in Brazil for people and small businesses alike.

We value autonomy, ownership, and a bias for action. We’re looking for people who are curious, hands-on, and driven by impact, who want to solve real problems, work with strong teams, and rethink what’s possible.

**If you’re ready to do your best work, at scale, with purpose, this is your place.**

###
**Responsibilities**

As a _**SAP Basis & Platform Specialist**_, you will be an internal technical reference for the SAP platform, owning the hands-on operation, reliability, evolution, and technical governance of the SAP S/4HANA landscape. This is a deeply hands-on role focused on system administration, release upgrades, SAP Notes lifecycle, incident troubleshooting, HANA operations, transport governance, cloud operations, and platform-level support for SAP Integration Suite / CPI.

Automation and technical fluency are core foundations of this role. You are expected to write and maintain operational scripts for automation, monitoring, log analysis, and platform reliability; read and debug ABAP when needed for incident analysis, SAP Notes validation, and technical troubleshooting; and support SAP CPI / Integration Suite flows from a platform perspective, including runtime troubleshooting and minor technical adjustments when required.

You will work directly with the SAP Tech Lead, Product Owner, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and external implementation or AMS partners. Your role is to provide deep SAP platform expertise, challenge technical decisions, ensure production readiness, and help establish the internal standards, documentation, and operational practices required to run SAP reliably in a regulated fintech environment.

This is a foundational role for RecargaPay’s Corporate Systems technology capability. You will help build internal SAP platform knowledge, reduce operational dependency on external partners, establish technical standards, and create the documentation and governance practices required to operate SAP reliably in a regulated fintech environment.

### Key Responsibilities

- Lead hands-on technical activities for SAP S/4HANA release upgrades, including sandbox, development, quality, and pre-production cycles, SUM execution, SAP Notes lifecycle, technical regression support, cutover planning, hypercare, rollback readiness, and post-upgrade stabilization.

- Maintain and periodically validate backup, restore, high availability, and disaster recovery procedures, ensuring that recovery objectives are documented, tested, and aligned with business criticality.
- Provide platform-level support for SAP Integration Suite / CPI, including tenant administration, connectivity, certificate management, Cloud Connector, monitoring, runtime troubleshooting, deployment support, and coordination with integration developers or external partners for iflow changes.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex SAP platform incidents, including performance degradation, job failures, transport issues, connectivity problems, interface/runtime failures, HANA alerts, authorization-related technical blockers, and upgrade defects, ensuring durable corrective actions and clear documentation.
- Define and improve SAP platform observability, including job monitoring, interface monitoring, HANA health indicators, system availability, performance baselines, transport failure tracking, certificate expiration alerts, backup validation, and incident recurrence analysis.
- Act as the internal SAP platform counterpart for implementation partners and AMS providers, reviewing and challenging technical plans, Basis activities, transports, cutover steps, SAP Notes approach, environment dependencies, security implications, documentation, and production-readiness criteria.
- Establish technical acceptance criteria for partner deliveries, including implementation plans, transport sequencing, rollback plans, test evidence, monitoring impact, security considerations, operational documentation, and handover quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, landscape diagrams, runbooks, operational playbooks, known-error databases, cutover plans, recovery procedures, and audit evidence repositories, ensuring readiness for internal, external, BACEN, LGPD, and SOX-related reviews.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly for scripting, log analysis, runbook generation, documentation, knowledge base creation, and operational analysis, ensuring all outputs are reviewed and validated before use in production or audit-relevant contexts.
