**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its adult cardiac surgery, valve, coronary and advanced perioperative cardiac care services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join its clinical team.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained cardiac surgeon to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide advanced cardiac surgical care while working closely with multidisciplinary cardiac teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring adult cardiac surgical intervention.  
• Perform coronary, valve, aortic and other cardiac surgical procedures according to expertise and facility privileges.  
• Lead perioperative planning in collaboration with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, perfusion, intensive care and rehabilitation teams.  
• Participate in multidisciplinary heart team meetings, risk assessment, informed consent and clinical outcome reviews.  
• Manage postoperative recovery, complications, follow-up and long-term care coordination.  
• Contribute to quality improvement, infection control, surgical registry, clinical audit and patient safety programmes.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Cardiac Surgeons holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

• American Board of Thoracic Surgery  
• UK CCT / FRCS Cardiothoracic Surgery  
• European Board or National Cardiothoracic Specialist Certification  
• Royal College Certification, Canada  
• Australian FRACS  
• Arab Board  
• MCh / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.
