This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working close to production systems, solving complex technical issues, and helping maintain stable, high-performing infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play an important part in supporting core server and middleware environments, partnering with cross-functional technical teams, and contributing to the operational reliability of enterprise platforms.

### Responsibilities

-   Administer and support AIX and Linux environments.
-   Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM WebSphere Application Server.
-   Administer and troubleshoot IBM HTTP Server and IBM WebSphere Edge Server.
-   Support enterprise middleware environments including IBM IIB, IBM ACE, and IBM MQ.
-   Perform application and middleware deployments and configuration changes.
-   Monitor infrastructure and middleware availability and performance.
-   Troubleshoot application connectivity, middleware, network, and infrastructure issues.
-   Perform log analysis and root-cause analysis for production incidents.
-   Support system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
-   Coordinate with application, database, network, security, and other infrastructure teams.
-   Support production incidents and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
-   Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
-   Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes.
-   Support backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities where required.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
-   5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience, including senior Infrastructure Specialist or L2-L3 support-level experience.
-   Strong hands-on administration experience with AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
-   Production experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and IBM middleware environments.
-   Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, IBM IIB or IBM ACE, and IBM MQ.
-   Experience troubleshooting application connectivity, messaging, server, and middleware issues, and performing root-cause analysis for infrastructure and middleware incidents.
-   Experience supporting production deployments, configuration changes, patching, and maintenance activities, while handling incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
-   Experience documenting incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures, and working within incident, problem, and change management processes.
-   Experience coordinating with application, database, network, security, and other infrastructure teams.
-   Good to very good written and spoken English for technical documentation, incident reporting, troubleshooting discussions, and understanding IBM product documentation.
-   Eligibility to work in Egypt.
