## Description

Maxana is hiring a Frontend Developer on behalf of a fast-growing digital health platform in the U.S. You'll join their product engineering team as a full-time contractor, building the user-facing experiences that help members manage their health journey. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in Latin America, working U.S.-overlapping hours.

What you'll do:

\- Build and maintain responsive, high-quality web interfaces for a consumer health platform

\- Translate designs and product requirements into clean, performant, accessible UI

\- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers in an agile environment

\- Write reusable components and contribute to the team's shared component library

\- Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering bar

\- Debug, profile, and optimize frontend performance across devices and browsers

## Requirements

\- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience

\- Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript

\- Solid command of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles

\- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs

\- Familiarity with modern build tooling and Git-based workflows

\- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

\- Strong written and spoken English (daily collaboration with a U.S.-based team)

\- Based in Latin America with reliable ability to work U.S.-overlapping hours

Nice to have:

\- Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks

\- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or other regulated consumer products

\- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

\- Experience with design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG)
