## Description

**Position Summary**

The Wellness Lead oversees the store's natural supplements and health and beauty operations, ensuring smooth execution, with a particular focus on meeting each customer’s health-related needs. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the department is well-stocked, organized and visually appealing. The Wellness Lead serves as a trusted resource for customers seeking natural health products, vitamins, supplements, and wellness solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Work closely with vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink 
-   Keep up to date with wellness trends and ensure that Totum Market has a timely and relevant product set. 
-   Maintain department conditions, including cleanliness, organization, signage, and product presentation.
-   Support labor planning, scheduling, and real‑time labor adjustments
-   Ensure compliance with OSHA policies, DSHEA regulations, and company policies. 
-   Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels.
-   Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of department team members. 
-   Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
-   Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD) as needed

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   5+ years of relevant industry experience
-   Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning
-   Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive culture
-   Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
-   Excellent communication and organizational skills
-   Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
-   Knowledge of DSHEA compliance standards preferred
-   High school diploma or GED required

**Physical Requirements**

-   Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
-   Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)

**Compensation**

**Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.92**
