## Description

**Overview**

We are seeking freelance Mathematics Content Developers to create structured lesson materials aligned with the Cambridge curriculum for ESL learners. This role supports a digital flipped-classroom model in which students learn through self-study materials before joining teacher-led live lessons.

You will work from a predefined curriculum map and follow provided templates and content guidelines. This role is well suited to educators or content developers who can create clear, student-friendly Mathematics materials and adapt content for learners using English as an additional language.

The materials developed in this role are primarily intended for teacher delivery and classroom implementation. However, candidates with strong teaching capability may also be considered for future teaching opportunities where appropriate.

**What You’ll Do**

-   Develop lesson-level Mathematics content based on provided curriculum objectives and lesson structures
-   Create self-study materials that introduce concepts clearly and support independent learning
-   Create live-class materials that help teachers extend learning through guided practice and discussion
-   Write ESL-friendly explanations, examples, and practice tasks
-   Build activities that support student participation, communication, and understanding
-   Follow templates, formatting rules, and internal content standards
-   Revise materials based on feedback from the academic or content team
-   Provide answer keys or guidance notes where required

**Lesson Components**

**Self-Study Materials (20–25 minutes)**

You will create introductory learning materials that help students prepare before class. This may include:

-   Clear concept explanations
-   Guided examples
-   Step-by-step worked solutions
-   Short practice tasks
-   Vocabulary support for mathematical language
-   Suggested interactive elements such as quizzes or simple digital activities

**Live Class Materials (55–60 minutes)**

You will create materials that teachers can use to deepen understanding during live sessions. This may include:

-   Presentation outlines
-   Practice exercises
-   Problem-solving tasks
-   Discussion prompts
-   Error analysis activities
-   Peer or partner interaction tasks

## Requirements

-   Experience teaching Mathematics or developing Mathematics learning materials
-   Familiarity with Cambridge Mathematics at Primary and/or Lower Secondary level
-   Ability to align content to provided learning objectives
-   Experience supporting ESL learners or adapting content for learners studying in English
-   Ability to explain mathematical ideas clearly and simply
-   Strong written English and attention to detail
-   Ability to follow structured templates and content systems
-   Comfort working independently and incorporating feedback

**Preferred Qualifications/Experience**

-   Prior experience with Cambridge curriculum, including IGCSE Mathematics
-   Experience creating content for online or blended learning
-   Experience working with learning management systems or online learning platforms, including platforms such as LearnWorlds
-   Experience creating interactive learning activities
-   Background in ESL, EAL, or CLIL-based instruction
-   Teaching experience in Mathematics classrooms or online learning environments

-   Practice and activity set
-   Answer key or teacher guidance, where applicable
