## Description

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and reliability of onboard instrumentation, control, fire & gas, and electronic systems. The role ensures that planned maintenance is completed effectively, that equipment complies with applicable safety standards, and that all maintenance records remain accurate and up to date. Supports technical problem-solving, EX inspections, emergency response, and compliance with company, HSE, Permit to Work, and NR10 requirements.

**Responsibilities**

• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and electronic instrumentation. Clear reporting of deficiencies and malfunctions to the E/I Supervisor.

• Discuss and analyse technical and spares issues. Propose solutions to deficiencies and non-conformities.

• Install, maintain, repair and calibrate all instrumentation fitted to process equipment. Repair and calibrate all fire and gas systems.

• Repair and maintain all electronic control systems.

• Implement and follow through planned maintenance routines and schedules for all instrumentation. Ensure that all applicable equipment adheres to intrinsically safe codes of practice.

• Carry out Planned Maintenance when due and ensure that all records are kept up to date in accordance with the maintenance procedure.

• Other responsibilities and duties as delegated by the supervisor.

• Keep certification applied to the function and medical certificates up to date. Attend Company training as defined.

• Perform all emergency duties assigned to their function, in response to the emergency, if applicable. Ensure compliance with BW procedures applied to the function, including the BW Permit to Work System.

• Need to be fully familiar and comply with Company Policies, Quality, HSE and all Procedures assigned to his title/position.

• Anticipate and notice any unsafe condition and ensure that corrective actions are taken according to procedure.

• Responsible for your own safety and for the safety of your co-workers.

• Calibrate, configure, and troubleshoot field instrumentation — including pressure, differential pressure, level, flow, and temperature transmitters from multiple manufacturers

• Ensure full compliance with NR-10 during instrumentation and control system maintenance activities, including risk assessment and verification of electrical isolation prior to intervention on live circuits or intrinsically safe systems

• Perform isolation and de-isolation of instrumentation and control loops prior to maintenance work, in accordance with NR-10 and the BW Permit to Work System, and confirm loop status to the Control Room Operator prior to work authorization.

## Requirements

**Education**

· Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fieldsn.

**Experience**

· Offshore Experience requested. Preferable FPSO Experience.

**Knowledge**

· English Intermediate

·  Calibration and maintenance of field instrumentation (pressure, differential pressure, level, flow, and temperature transmitters) from multiple manufacturers using communicators and certified process calibrators.

·  Fire & Gas detection and suppression systems, including gas, flame, and smoke detectors, open-path infrared detectors, manual call points, and CO2/Inergen/FM-200/clean-agent release system testing and verification

·  Maintenance of control valves, on/off valves, solenoid valves, positioners, directional valves, and pneumatic/hydraulic actuators

·  Fiscal and custody transfer metering systems and flow computers, and familiarity with applicable ANP measurement regulations for oil and gas custody transf
