## About the role

As a Chartered Assessor, you'll assess candidates across one or more Chartered Status pathways, including:

-   Personal Trainer Practitioner
-   Manager
-   Researcher
-   Tai Chi & Qigong for Health and Wellbeing
-   Pilates-based Matwork Instructor

You'll guide candidates through the assessment process from initial contact through to final outcome. You'll review evidence, conduct professional discussions, and make informed, evidence-based decisions against CIMSPA's Chartered framework.[](https://cimspa-my.sharepoint.com/personal/katrina_moss_cimspa_co_uk/Documents/Microsoft%20Copilot%20Chat%20Files/Chartered%20Assessor%20draft.pdf)

## What you'll be doing

-   Arranging introductory meetings with Chartered candidates.
-   Reviewing portfolios, case studies, CPD records and supporting evidence.
-   Conducting professional discussions and competency-based assessments.
-   Making impartial and evidence-based Pass or Refer decisions.
-   Providing detailed, constructive feedback to candidates.
-   Recording and securely uploading assessment outcomes.
-   Working with internal quality assurance processes to maintain consistency.
-   Attending assessor standardisation sessions and training opportunities.
