**Job Details**

-   Location: Uptown Chicago
-   Specifications: This role oversees 2 Class Multifamily Buildings (84 & 176 units).
-   Schedule: Monday - Friday
-   Emergency coverage: on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
-   Compensation: $20 - $24/hr + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off (PTO).

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
-   Perform routine repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting.
-   Assist with HVAC maintenance and basic diagnostics.
-   Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop, common areas, storage areas.
-   Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
-   Support unit turns, including, fixture replacement.
-   Assist with groundskeeping and snow removal as needed.
-   Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
-   Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

## Requirements

-   General maintenance experience in residential or multifamily housing.

-   Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
-   Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
-   Strong troubleshooting skills.
-   Good customer service and communication skills.
-   Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
-   Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
-   Knowledge of building safety standards and local housing codes.
-   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
