**Role Overview**

We are looking for experienced **US-qualified attorneys with current or prior Vault Law 100 experience** to support a project focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand, analyse, and generate sophisticated legal content.

You will conduct legal research, review complex legal materials, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and draft or refine memoranda, contracts, opinions, and other professional legal documents. This role is designed for lawyers with strong exposure to **high-stakes transactions, litigation, regulatory matters, or complex advisory work**. Previous AI experience is not required.

**CONTRACT: Freelance contractor, project-based**

**COMMITMENT: Flexible, based on project workload**

**LOCATIONS: Fully remote, United States**

**PROCESS: Application review, legal expertise assessment (AI-led), onboarding**

**HOURLY RATE:** $140 - $280/h

**Responsibilities**

-   Conduct detailed legal research across a range of US law topics.
-   Analyse complex legal issues and develop well-supported conclusions.
-   Draft and edit memoranda, contracts, opinions, and other legal materials.
-   Review AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and analytical quality.
-   Identify legal errors, unsupported conclusions, inconsistencies, and ambiguities.
-   Provide structured written feedback based on professional legal standards.
-   Evaluate complex or high-stakes legal scenarios.
-   Support quality assurance across legal documents and project deliverables.
-   Collaborate remotely with legal, technical, and project stakeholders.

## Requirements

-   Active licence to practise law in at least one US jurisdiction.
-   Current or previous experience at a **Vault Law 100 firm**.
-   Strong experience in legal research, analysis, drafting, and document review.
-   Exposure to sophisticated transactional, litigation, regulatory, or advisory matters.
-   Experience producing high-quality legal work under demanding professional standards.
-   Current residence in the United States.
