**Requirements**

The Roman Catholic Priest Chaplain is responsible for providing pastoral care and sacramental ministry to Roman Catholic patients, in collaboration with the rest of the pastoral team; providing pastoral care to assigned units when on-call; and sharing in the related activities of the department as a whole.

**Schedule:** 2 -3 days per week, Part - Time (8am - 4pm)

**Salary: $** 63,775.96 - $68,541.99 annually

**Qualifications:** 

-   Training and experience in hospital ministry and/or counseling
-   Approved faculties to function as a priest from the Archdiocese of New York.  Maintains  good standing in the Archdiocese of New York.
-   Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.  
    

**Education:**

-   Minimum Bachelors Degree required, as well as eligibility for certification within one year as a Chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.  Masters Degree and Certification preferred.
