## Description

### **Job Summary:**

Responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures on drilling rigs. Conducts safety training, ensures compliance with HSE regulations, and promotes a strong safety culture among rig personnel.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Conduct routine rig inspections and enforce HSE policies.
-   Deliver safety training: H2S, firefighting, confined space, PTW, LOTO, rigging & slinging.
-   Identify hazards, report incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
-   Lead emergency response drills and ensure crew readiness.
-   Maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation.

### **Requirements:**

-   Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Safety, or related field.
-   **5+ years** experience on oil & gas rigs (offshore/onshore) in HSE roles.
-   Certified in H2S Safety, Firefighting, Confined Space, PTW, LOTO.
-   Knowledge of rig operations, drilling equipment, and safety standards (API/OSHA/ISO).
-   Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.

### **Preferred:**

-   Hands-on rig experience with mechanical or lifting operations.
-   Familiarity with incident reporting software and risk assessment.
