## Description

**Who we are**

E1, (formerly called EstimateOne) is a SaaS tender management platform connecting commercial builders with subcontractors and suppliers. Proudly named one of AFR’s Best Places to Work in 2025, we’re the market leader in Australia and New Zealand.

Our scale up vibe keeps things lively. We’re passionate about setting clear, fair expectations and delivering results, with a genuine commitment to wellness and happiness that you’ll truly experience.

**The Role**

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of parental leave. You’ll get in front of our builders, subbies, and suppliers every week and turn real customer problems into high-quality, technically ambitious plans — the bets that shape what we build next.

As the Senior Product Manager, you’ll run ahead of delivery, deliberately. You’ll spend around a third of your time in continuous customer discovery, testing concepts before we build rather than validating after. You’ll turn what you learn into bounded, well-scoped plans against our live priorities — setting out the problem, the value, the boundaries, and a clear definition of done — then pull engineers in early and hand over cleanly so they can own delivery. You’ll own the hardest, highest-value plans, set the discovery bar for the team, and coach other PMs to lift the standard of the whole group.

**About You**

- You have a proven track record in product management — running continuous customer discovery and turning what you learn into sharp, well-scoped plans that teams can build from.
- You live in the problem, not the process — you can frame the highest-value bet, say what needs to happen (informed by customers and engineering), and leave the build to the experts.
- You’re a strong writer who can set out a plan as a clear, falsifiable bet others can act on without hand-holding.
- You’re comfortable running ahead of delivery, holding several plans in flight, and building alignment with senior stakeholders without relying on authority.
- You’re humble, hungry and smart.
- You’re a team player and want the business to succeed.

The ability to champion our company values matters to us; we care about our team and you’ll be joining a group of people who want each other to be happy and successful. If you’re a motivated, self-starter and passionate person, we need you in our team.

E1 is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a work environment which embraces and values diversity and inclusion. If you have any support or access requirements, please let us know when you apply so we can make your application process as smooth as possible.
