**THE ROLE**

As a Purchasing Officer, you’ll take ownership of the customer journey from the moment a vehicle is assigned by Sales through to final lease activation. Working closely with our Sales team, dealerships and customers, you’ll keep vehicle orders moving, manage documentation and ensure every settlement is completed accurately, compliantly and on time.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

-   Prepare and submit finance applications within required timeframes
-   Place vehicle orders with dealerships and proactively manage the end-to-end order pipeline
-   Ensure settlements meet all compliance requirements, including credit policies, approval conditions, and internal guidelines
-   Execute legal documentation accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and regulations
-   Manage settlement preparation and submission within specified timelines
-   Effectively prioritise and manage settlement workflows to meet deadlines
-   Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and support process improvement initiatives
-   Support external audit activities as required

**Please note - this role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract with potential opportunity for a permanent role to be offered at end of contract.**

**ABOUT YOU**

You have a sharp eye for detail, strong focus on delivering a great customer experience, and exceptional organisational skills to manage the end-to-end vehicle lease and delivery process.

To be successful in this role you will have:

-   Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
-   Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to consistently meet deadlines and targets
-   Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook and Teams
-   Bonus points if you're familiar with Automotive Fleet Leasing or Asset Finance within a financial institution
