## Description

Westview International Language School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic **Lower Elementary Art Teacher** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing creativity and artistic skills in young learners, creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Design and implement age-appropriate art lessons that promote creativity and artistic expression among lower elementary students.
-   Utilize various artistic mediums and techniques to engage students in hands-on learning activities.
-   Encourage students' exploration and appreciation of art through individual and collaborative projects.
-   Assess and document students' artistic development and progress.
-   Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
-   Coordinate art displays and exhibitions to showcase student work.
-   Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into a broader curriculum where appropriate.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
-   Experience teaching art to young children, preferably in a lower elementary or early childhood setting.
-   Strong knowledge of various art techniques and child development principles.
-   Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
-   Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom culture.
-   Organizational skills to manage classroom resources efficiently.
-   Commitment to student safety and safeguarding policies.
-   Good Communication and classroom management skills.
