**Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.**

**Who The Client Is:**

They are highly engaged in leveraging AI across their workflows and are looking for someone who is tech-savvy, adaptable, and shares the same forward-thinking mindset.

**Role Overview:**

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join a growing, product-focused team responsible for developing and improving solutions used in real-world building and environmental applications.

This role blends engineering, product development, and customer-centric thinking — ideal for someone who enjoys taking products from concept through to implementation, while ensuring they are practical, reliable, and easy to use.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and refine product solutions across multiple product lines
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate customer needs into functional product designs
- Support the full product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping through to production and continuous improvement
- Work closely with technical and commercial teams to ensure products are both high-performing and market-ready
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure product reliability
- Provide technical input into product documentation, resources, and educational materials
- Assist in identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and product enhancement

## Requirements

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or similar)
- Experience in product development, design, or technical engineering roles
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, systems-thinking approach
- Ability to balance technical detail with practical, user-focused outcomes
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, cross-functional environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must-have skill

### Nice to Have

- Experience in building products, water systems, plumbing, or environmental solutions
- Exposure to manufacturing processes or product commercialisation
- Familiarity with CAD or product design tools

### Why This Role

- Opportunity to work on tangible, real-world products that make an impact
- Join a collaborative, close-knit team with strong technical expertise
- Be part of a business that values innovation, education, and long-term product quality
- Broad scope role with exposure across engineering, product, and customer solutions

**Work Arrangement & Expectations:**

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
