**Event Marketing Manager**

We are seeking a strategic and creative Event Marketing Manager to own the end-to-end event experience for our private wealth audience. This is not a logistics-first role — we're looking for a content-led event marketer who thinks like a storyteller and operates like a campaign manager. You will design, execute, and amplify events that position our brand as a trusted authority in private wealth, drive meaningful engagement with HNW and UHNW audiences, and generate measurable pipeline outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines event expertise with a content marketing mindset, understanding that the event itself is only one moment in a broader narrative arc. You will be responsible for shaping compelling pre-event storytelling, delivering high-impact live experiences, and maximising post-event amplification to extend reach, deepen relationships, and nurture prospects through the funnel.

This role requires close collaboration with our marketing, growth, paid media, and sales teams to ensure every event is fully integrated into our broader go-to-market strategy.

**Responsibilities**

**Event Strategy & Programme Ownership**

- **Own the private wealth event strategy** — define the annual event calendar, formats, themes, and audience segmentation approach
- Design event experiences tailored to HNW/UHNW audiences: intimate roundtables, investment seminars, exclusive dinners, market outlook briefings, and flagship conferences
- Align event themes with our broader brand narrative, content pillars, and business development priorities
- Develop event concepts that balance thought leadership value with commercial objectives (pipeline generation, client deepening, brand positioning)
- Identify strategic sponsorship, partnership, and co-hosting opportunities that elevate brand presence
- Manage event budgets and track ROI at the programme and individual event level

**Content-Led Event Development**

- **Approach every event as a content opportunity** — from concept through to post-event amplification
- Develop compelling event narratives, themes, and angles that resonate with sophisticated wealth audiences
- Curate speaker line-ups, panel topics, and discussion frameworks that showcase thought leadership
- Create high-quality event content assets: keynote outlines, speaker briefs, discussion guides, moderator scripts, and presentation decks
- Collaborate with wealth advisors and investment teams to source timely, relevant content themes (market outlook, asset allocation, alternative investments, succession planning, etc.)
- Translate complex financial topics into engaging event formats that deliver genuine audience value
- Ensure every event reinforces our brand positioning and content authority in private wealth

**Pre-Event Marketing & Audience Building**

- **Design and execute multi-channel pre-event campaigns** that build anticipation, drive registrations, and prime the audience
- Develop pre-event content journeys: teaser content, speaker spotlights, topic previews, behind-the-scenes narratives, and countdown communications
- Write compelling event copy across all touchpoints — invitations, landing pages, email sequences, social posts, and ad creative
- Collaborate with the **paid media team** on audience targeting, retargeting, and paid promotion strategies to maximise reach among target segments
- Partner with the **growth team** on registration nurture flows and conversion optimisation
- Work with wealth advisors and relationship managers on personalised outreach and VIP invitation strategies
- Segment and personalise communications based on client tier, interest area, and relationship stage
- Monitor registration performance and adjust promotion tactics in real-time to hit attendance targets

**Event Execution & Experience Design**

- Lead the end-to-end production of events, ensuring flawless execution that reflects our premium brand positioning
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, venue selection, and on-site coordination
- Design experiential touchpoints that create memorable, share-worthy moments for attendees
- Ensure all event materials, signage, presentations, and collateral are brand-aligned and of the highest quality
- Brief and manage event partners, AV teams, photographers, videographers, and live-streaming production
- Coordinate with compliance to ensure all event content and communications meet regulatory requirements

**Post-Event Amplification & Content Maximisation**

- **Develop a robust post-event amplification strategy** that extends event impact well beyond the live experience
- Repurpose event content into multiple formats: highlight reels, key takeaway articles, quote graphics, audiograms, blog posts, social carousels, and short-form video
- Manage post-event communication sequences: thank-you emails, content recaps, on-demand access, follow-up resources, and next-step CTAs
- Create post-event nurture programmes that move attendees further down the funnel
- Collaborate with the **marketing team** to distribute event content across owned, earned, and paid channels
- Develop event case studies, testimonials, and social proof assets for future marketing use
- Deliver post-event reports including attendance analysis, engagement metrics, content performance, and pipeline attribution

**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Amplification**

- **Marketing Team:** Work as an integrated partner — ensure events are woven into broader campaigns, content calendars, and brand initiatives
- **Paid Media Team:** Brief paid promotion strategies (pre-event awareness, registration drives, post-event retargeting with content assets)
- **Growth Team:** Align on lead capture, scoring, and handoff processes; optimise registration and follow-up flows
- **Sales & Wealth Advisors:** Coordinate on attendee targeting, VIP management, real-time lead feedback, and post-event follow-up cadences
- **Content/Brand Team:** Collaborate on narrative consistency, content repurposing, and thought leadership alignment
- **Compliance:** Ensure all event marketing materials, speaker content, and communications meet regulatory standards

**Analytics & Performance Management**

- Define and track event KPIs: registrations, attendance rate, engagement scores, qualified leads generated, MQL-to-SQL conversion, event-sourced pipeline, and event ROI
- Implement attendee feedback mechanisms (surveys, NPS, qualitative insights) to continuously improve event quality
- Report on content amplification metrics: post-event content reach, engagement, downloads, and attributed pipeline
- Use data to inform future event strategy, format selection, topic prioritisation, and budget allocation
- Benchmark performance against industry standards and competitor events
- Track attendee journey from registration through to conversion/client acquisition

**Requirements**

**Experience & Knowledge**

- 5–7 years of event marketing experience, with significant experience **targeting HNW/UHNW or premium audiences** in financial services, private wealth, private banking, or asset management
- Demonstrated experience approaching events with a **content-first mindset** — not just logistics execution, but strategic narrative development and amplification
- Proven track record of designing and executing multi-format events (intimate roundtables, seminars, conferences, virtual events, hybrid experiences)
- Strong understanding of the private wealth landscape: client segments, investment themes, competitive dynamics, and what resonates with sophisticated audiences
- Experience developing and executing pre- and post-event marketing campaigns across multiple channels

**Content & Creative Skills**

- Good writing and editorial skills — ability to craft compelling event narratives, copy, and content
- Strong storytelling instinct with the ability to translate complex financial topics into engaging event themes
- Experience curating speaker programmes, developing discussion frameworks, and creating high-quality event collateral
- Eye for premium brand presentation and design excellence

**Marketing & Amplification Skills**

- Experience collaborating with paid media, growth, and marketing teams on integrated campaign execution
- Understanding of multi-channel content distribution and amplification strategies (organic, paid, email, social)
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and lead nurture workflows
- Knowledge of paid media metrics and how events feed broader demand generation goals

**Project Management & Execution**

- Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent events and workstreams
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities
- Budget management experience with ability to optimise spend for maximum impact
- Calm under pressure with meticulous attention to detail in high-stakes, client-facing environments

**Personal Attributes**

- Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in financial markets, investing, and wealth management
- Premium brand sensibility — understands what "excellence" looks and feels like for HNW audiences
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Discretion and understanding of confidentiality in private wealth management
- Strong interpersonal skills — able to engage confidently with senior executives, advisors, and clients

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Experience in luxury, premium, or ultra-high-net-worth brand environments
- Familiarity with financial services regulatory requirements for event communications and marketing materials
