## Description

Texas Sports Academy is seeking a Parent Inquiry Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families inquiring about our schools and program. This individual will respond to inbound parent inquiries, conduct informational conversations, and assess fit before transitioning qualified families to the sales team for enrollment.

The Parent Inquiry Specialist works in close partnership with the sales team, providing the front-line support that allows sales representatives to focus on closing qualified opportunities. The role is responsible for delivering a consistent, informative, and professional experience to every parent who engages with Texas Sports Academy.

### Responsibilities

-   Inbound Inquiry Response. Respond to inbound parent inquiries received by phone, email, and text message in a timely and professional manner during established business hours.
-   Discovery Conversations. Conduct 15 to 30 minute discovery conversations with prospective families to gather relevant information regarding the student, athletic involvement, grade level, and educational objectives.
-   Program Information. Provide accurate information about the Texas Sports Academy program, including the academic model, athletic schedule, coaching staff, tuition structure, and TEFA funding eligibility.
-   Lead Qualification and Hand-Off. Qualify prospective families based on established criteria and transition qualified leads to the sales team with complete documentation.
-   Follow-Up Outreach. Conduct follow-up outreach to prospective families who have not responded to previous communications.
-   Reporting and Insights. Provide regular reporting to leadership on recurring parent questions, common objections, and engagement trends to support ongoing improvements to messaging, content, and program development.

## Requirements

-   Experience. Minimum of one year of professional experience in a customer-facing role such as admissions, customer success, sales development, recruitment, or educational administration.
-   Communication Skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and text message with a diverse range of stakeholders.
-   Technical Proficiency. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and standard office productivity tools.
-   Organization and Attention to Detail. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with respect to data entry and documentation.
-   Workload Management. Ability to manage multiple concurrent conversations and prioritize inquiries based on urgency and qualification status.
-   AI-first mindset. Must be comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) as a core part of daily workflow, including drafting parent communications, personalizing outreach, summarizing family interactions, analyzing engagement and retention data, and automating repetitive follow-ups.
-   Background in athletics. Personal experience as an athlete, coach, or in a sports-related role, with a genuine understanding of the youth athletics landscape and the families it serves.

### Bonus Points

-   Sales Support Experience. Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or admissions counselor working in support of a sales or enrollment team.
-   Hubspot Management. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all parent interactions within Hubspot
-   Bilingual. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
