**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its continuity-based primary care, preventive health and chronic disease management services and is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Consultant/Specialist to join its clinical team.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained family medicine physician to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care across different age groups while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic facilities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across different age groups, including acute, chronic and preventive healthcare needs.  
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions and chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension and other long-term conditions.  
• Provide preventive healthcare through vaccinations, health screening, lifestyle counselling and risk-factor management.  
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with specialists, diagnostic services and allied health professionals.  
• Provide evidence-based counselling on family health, occupational health, travel medicine and general wellness where applicable.  
• Monitor patients through appropriate follow-up and develop individualised care plans.  
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient education records and follow-up plans.  
• Participate in quality improvement, preventive healthcare initiatives and patient safety programmes.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Family Medicine Consultants/Specialists holding recognised qualifications such as:

• American Board of Family Medicine

• UK CCT / MRCGP

• European or National Family Medicine Specialist Recognition

• Royal College Certification, Canada

• Australian FRACGP / FACRRM

• Arab Board

• MD / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.

Final compensation is aligned with board certification, years of experience, subspecialty expertise, procedural scope and licensing eligibility.
