As our European operations continue to grow, we're looking for a **Junior Quantity Surveyor** to join our Commercial team on a major project in **Frankfurt, Germany**.

Whether you're a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or have some construction industry experience, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your commercial career while working alongside experienced professionals on large-scale international projects.

This is a **site-based rotational position**, so you'll need to be comfortable working away from home on a rotational basis. Flights and accommodation are provided.

### The Role

Reporting to the **Commercial Manager**, you'll support the commercial delivery of projects from tender stage through to final account, gaining exposure to every aspect of Quantity Surveying on high-value construction projects.

### Your responsibilities will include:

-   Assisting with the preparation of tenders and pricing submissions.
-   Carrying out quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities.
-   Supporting interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
-   Assisting with procurement and supplier negotiations.
-   Monitoring project costs, budgets and cash flow.
-   Maintaining accurate commercial records and site documentation.
-   Assisting with subcontractor management and payment applications.
-   Supporting value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
-   Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams.
-   Carrying out site measurements and progress assessments.
-   Ensuring contractual documentation is maintained accurately and on time.
-   Supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects from start to finish.

## Requirements

### About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious and eager to build a long-term career in Quantity Surveying.

### Essential Requirements

-   Degree in **Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management, Civil Engineering** or a related construction discipline, **or relevant construction industry experience**.
-   Strong numerical and analytical skills.
-   Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-   High attention to detail.
-   Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Full driving licence.
-   Willingness to work away from home on a rotational basis in **Frankfurt, Germany**.

### Desirable

-   Experience working on roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope projects.
-   Knowledge of Microsoft Project or commercial software.
