**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in Dubai is expanding its neurosurgical, brain and spine services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurosurgeon to join its growing clinical team. The role is suitable for internationally trained neurosurgeons seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the opportunity to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, neurologists, radiologists, anaesthetists, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and surgical infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Assess and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spine disorders.  
• Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system according to expertise and facility privileges.  
• Manage brain tumours, spinal tumours, traumatic brain injuries, intracranial haemorrhage, hydrocephalus and degenerative spinal conditions.  
• Perform cranial surgery, spinal surgery and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures within the appropriate scope of practice.  
• Review CT, MRI, angiography and other relevant neuroimaging investigations and develop appropriate treatment plans.  
• Provide pre-operative assessment, post-operative care, complication management and long-term follow-up.  
• Coordinate care with neurology, neuro-oncology, radiology, neuroanaesthesia, neurocritical care, emergency medicine and rehabilitation teams.  
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, complex case discussions and tumour boards where applicable.  
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks and expected outcomes.  
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, informed consent, surgical records and patient safety standards.  
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and infection control programmes.

## Requirements

• American Board of Neurological Surgery  
• UK CCT / FRCS Neurosurgery  
• European Board / National Neurosurgical Specialist Certification  
• Royal College Certification (Canada)  
• Australian / New Zealand specialist neurosurgical qualifications  
• Arab Board  
• MD / DNB / MCh / MS / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
