## Description

Blair Health is a clinical infrastructure company closing the specialist gap. Today, someone with perimenopause, menopause, pelvic health, urology or weight concerns can see three primary care providers and a specialist and still leave without an answer. Blair changes that.

Our protocol-driven model gives generalist clinicians the tools, protocols and clinical support to deliver specialist-grade care across menopause, urology and pelvic health, nutrition and weight management. We serve patients and employers across Canada and are expanding across the United States.

To date, our focus has been women's health. We believe all people should have access to specialist-level care, and we are opening our care to men, starting with weight management.

**The Role**

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build the products our patients, clinicians and employer clients use every day. You will own features end to end, from patient intake and scheduling to clinical decision support and employer reporting, on a small team where your work ships fast and matters.

**What You'll Do**

-   **Build across the stack.** Ship features in our React and Next.js front end and our Python and Supabase back end, from database design to polished UI.
-   **Own outcomes, not tickets.** Take features from idea to production, working directly with our clinical and commercial teams to understand the problem first.
-   **Support our growth.** Build what we need to scale across Canada and the US, including multi-state clinician workflows, employer onboarding and utilization reporting.
-   **Protect patient data.** Build with privacy and security at the core, in line with PHIPA, PIPEDA and HIPAA requirements.
-   **Raise the bar.** Review code, improve our testing and deployment practices, and help shape our engineering culture as the team grows.
-   **Work with AI.** Contribute to the clinical logic and personalization engine that powers patient triage and care plans.

-   **Front end:** React (TypeScript), Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Zustand
-   **Back end:** Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage), FastAPI on GCP Cloud Run
-   **Clinical logic and AI:** Python, proprietary clinical rules engines and LLM-assisted personalization
-   **Communication:** Twilio (video, chat, SMS), SendGrid
-   **Deployment and monitoring:** Vercel, GCP, Sentry

## Requirements

**Must Have**

-   5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
-   Strong TypeScript and React skills, plus solid back-end experience in Python or Node.js
-   Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and cloud deployment (GCP, AWS or Vercel)
-   Experience at a startup or scale-up, shipping product in a fast-moving environment
-   A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
-   Based in Toronto and able to work from our office 3 days a week

**Nice to Have**

-   Experience in health tech or other regulated industries, such as fintech
-   Familiarity with Supabase, Next.js, FastAPI or Twilio
-   Experience building data pipelines, dashboards or LLM-powered features
-   Interest in women's health and building products that improve care
