## Requirements

### Industrial Boiler Technician

**This is where you come in.**

We're looking for an **Industrial Boiler Technician** to provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation services for boiler and burner systems serving commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert, consulting with customers on issues identified during service calls and recommending effective solutions to keep their systems operating safely and efficiently.

You'll work closely with our **SSP Account Executives, Service Coordination team, and Foreperson** to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and projects are completed successfully. As part of our **Industrial Group**, you'll join a collaborative, highly skilled team focused on delivering exceptional service while supporting a growing and evolving business.

This is a **union position**. Candidates must either be current members of the applicable Local Union or be willing and eligible to join.

**Your Background**

**What kind of person thrives in this role?**

**You should have:**

-   2+ years of experience working with boiler systems, including high- and low-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, and a variety of boiler types such as fire-tube, water-tube, and condensing boilers.
-   The ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ pounds.
-   Current union membership or the willingness and ability to join the Local Union.
-   Willingness to travel throughout Washington and Oregon as needed.
-   Washington and/or Oregon boiler licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.
-   Washington and/or Oregon low-voltage licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.

## Benefits

**Compensation:** $25 - $70 per hour paid in accordance with the union wage scale.
