## Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly detail-oriented Head of Housekeeping to oversee all housekeeping operations at a prestigious private ultra-luxury villa in Pedralbes, Barcelona. This is a leadership role requiring impeccable standards, a structured approach to household management, and the ability to maintain an environment of absolute perfection at all times. The ideal candidate leads by example, manages a small team with professionalism and care, and ensures every corner of the residence reflects the highest levels of cleanliness, order, and luxury presentation.

### Key responsibilities

-   Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations throughout the villa — ensuring every room, communal area, and outdoor space is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
-   Lead, schedule, and supervise the housekeeping team — setting clear standards, providing hands-on training, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
-   Manage laundry, wardrobe care, fine linens, and delicate fabrics — ensuring all garments and household textiles are handled, stored, and presented to the highest standard.
-   Control inventory of cleaning products, household supplies, and luxury consumables — managing orders, budgets, and supplier relationships efficiently.
-   Prepare and dress the villa to perfection ahead of the principal's arrival, events, and guest visits — coordinating closely with the butler and other household staff.
-   Proactively identify maintenance needs, report issues promptly, and ensure the property is always in immaculate, guest-ready condition without needing to be asked.

## Requirements

-   7+ years of experience in a senior housekeeping role within a luxury hotel (5-star), private estate, or ultra-luxury private household.
-   Fluency in both English and Spanish — essential for communication with the household team and principal.
-   An obsessive eye for detail — the ability to spot imperfection before anyone else does and act on it immediately.
-   Absolute discretion and respect for the privacy of the household — trustworthiness and professionalism are non-negotiable.
-   Knowledge of luxury fabric care, fine art handling, antiques, and high-end surface maintenance — understanding how to care for exceptional environments and objects.
-   Strong organisational and people management skills — able to lead a small team, manage schedules, and maintain standards consistently without constant supervision.
