### **Role Overview**

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play an essential role in shaping how the company leverages data to guide strategic and operational decisions across marketing, product, e-commerce, customer experience, finance, and merchandising.

This role sits at the intersection of **data, engineering, and business strategy**. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, curious, commercially minded, and capable of transforming raw, multi-source data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, building scalable reporting systems, and surfacing insights that drive measurable business impact.

### **Responsibilities**

### **Reporting & Data Infrastructure**

-   Query, clean, and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python, or related tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
-   Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using BI platforms such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
-   Consolidate and unify data from multiple sources including e-commerce platforms, paid media, analytics tools, and customer behavior systems.
-   Improve reporting efficiency, data refresh speeds, and automation workflows.
-   Partner with engineering to validate pipelines, maintain data quality across ETL processes, and ensure reliable performance (BigQuery, Stitch, etc.).
-   Document data flows and support the evolution of the company’s analytics architecture.

### **Analysis & Strategic Insights**

-   Collaborate with Marketing, Ecommerce, Finance, CX, and Operations to understand their data needs and business goals.
-   Translate complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for process improvements, product decisions, and strategic initiatives.
-   Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and profitability.
-   Identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities through ongoing performance analysis.
-   Provide recurring insights to support growth, retention, and long-term lifetime value (LTV) strategies.
-   Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by delivering data-driven perspectives and decision frameworks.

## Requirements

### **Required Qualifications & Skills**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
-   Strong proficiency in **SQL** for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
-   Hands-on experience with **BI and data visualization tools** (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
-   Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
-   Experience working with **digital analytics tools** such as Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics.
-   Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
-   Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-   Understanding of **retail or e-commerce business models**, KPIs, and workflows.

### **Preferred Qualifications**

-   4+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst role, ideally in a fast-paced e-commerce or omnichannel environment.
-   Experience with **paid media analytics**, attribution platforms, and marketing measurement tools.
-   Familiarity with **data warehousing concepts**, ETL processes, and cloud-based data tools (BigQuery, Stitch, Snowflake, etc.).
-   Experience with programming languages for analytics such as **Python or R**.
-   Experience designing automated reporting infrastructures and scalable analytics systems.
