We’re seeking a diligent and creative **Wordpress Website Designer Developer** to help our client’s New Zealand based Web Design Agency. If you have a passion for web design and development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability, thie remote role is a great fit for you!

### Responsibilities

-   Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress websites that reflect the clients' branding and objectives.
-   Customise WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and performance.
-   Ensure websites are responsive, optimised for speed, and compatible with mobile and browsers.
-   Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
-   Work with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Conduct website audits to identify areas for improvement and implement optimisations.
-   Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and design trends to ensure best practices are applied.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
-   Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
-   Strong with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Flatsome) and responsive design techniques.
-   Experience with website performance optimisation and SEO best practices.
-   Excellent attention to detail, diligent and responsible.
-   Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
-   Access to your own computer/laptop and a reliable internet connection.
-   Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
