### About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated **Junior Trade Executive** to join our Coffee Operations team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in commodity trading operations, working closely with traders, logistics providers, finance teams, warehouses, and customers to ensure the smooth execution of international coffee contracts.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full trade lifecycle, from contract execution through to shipment, invoicing, and payment reconciliation.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Support the execution of physical coffee trade contracts from purchase to final delivery.
-   Prepare, review, and maintain trade documentation, including:

-   Contracts
-   Purchase and sales confirmations
-   Bills of Lading
-   Commercial invoices
-   Packing lists
-   Certificates of Origin
-   Insurance documents
-   Phytosanitary and quality certificates

-   Coordinate shipments with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and shipping lines.
-   Track vessel schedules and shipment milestones, ensuring timely communication of delays or changes.
-   Maintain accurate contract data within the trading/ERP system.
-   Monitor inventory positions and warehouse movements.
-   Liaise with finance regarding invoices, payment status, letters of credit, and documentary collections.
-   Assist with trade reconciliations and month-end operational reporting.
-   Ensure compliance with internal controls, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
-   Resolve operational issues proactively while escalating risks where appropriate.
-   Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.

## Requirements

### Essential

-   Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
-   0–2 years' experience in commodity trading operations, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or international trade.
-   Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
-   Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-   Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-   Strong communication skills.
-   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-   Fluent English (written and spoken).

### Desirable

-   Experience within coffee or agricultural commodities.
-   Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
-   Knowledge of international shipping documentation.
-   Experience with ERP or commodity trading systems.
-   Additional European languages are an advantage.
