### About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced **Cybersecurity Engineer** with **strong Netskope experience** to join a high-performing security team responsible for protecting and enhancing a complex enterprise environment on a contract basis.

This is a **4-month Contract Position** that will focus on strengthening cyber resilience, implementing security controls, improving detection capabilities, and leading security uplift initiatives across modern Microsoft and cloud security platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Enhance and optimise security controls across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
-   Administer and improve security platforms including CrowdStrike, Netskope, Microsoft Defender, Intune, Purview and Entra ID.
-   Implement controls to manage data loss, BYOD access and emerging AI-related risks.
-   Develop security hardening standards, configuration baselines and compliance controls.
-   Improve threat detection capabilities through alert tuning, threat hunting and detection engineering.
-   Act as a technical lead on cybersecurity initiatives and projects.
-   Embed secure-by-design practices across technology programs.
-   Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers to maximise platform performance.
-   Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and architecture diagrams.

## Requirements

-   8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or a related security-focused role.
-   Proven experience implementing and managing **Netskope Secure Service Edge (SSE)** solutions, including web security, cloud security, data protection and zero-trust access controls.

-   Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security Services, SIEM platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Secure Service Edge (SSE) technologies.
-   Proven experience designing, implementing and optimising security controls within complex enterprise environments.
-   Demonstrated ability to improve threat detection, incident response and overall security posture through technical security initiatives.

**Desirable**

-   Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ACSC Essential Eight and PSPF.
-   Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CySA+, or Microsoft Security certifications.
