## Description

**Role : Associate Product Manager**

**Work Location : Bangalore - Onsite**

**Experience: 1 - 2 Years**

**Function: Matrimony**

**Role Type: Individual Contributor**

**About the team :**

[**Lokal Matrimony**](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=get.lokal.bengalurumatrimony&pcampaignid=web_share)is a regional-language matchmaking product built for Tier 2-4 India, where digital literacy is low and trust matters more than almost anything else. We're a small, fast-moving product team working across pricing, subscription, matching, and trust and safety, and we're scaling into a much bigger version of the product than what exists today.

**About the role :**

As APM, you'll own execution across a set of live initiatives end to end, from spec to ship, working closely with engineering, QA, design, analytics, CS, and business. You'll get real ownership early: writing specs, running sprints, and making sure things actually land, not just get planned. Alongside that, you'll get exposure to the strategic side of the role too, market research, competitive tracking, and shaping what we build next, working directly with the senior PM on Matrimony.

**What you'll do :**

- Write specs and own initiatives from definition through to launch
- Coordinate day to day across engineering, QA, design, analytics, CS, and business to keep things moving
- Design and run experiments and A/B tests, from setup through to reading the results
- Chase down and clear blockers across teams
- Contribute to user research and early-stage exploratory projects

## Requirements

- At least 1 year experience in product management

- A strong sense of ownership, comfortable managing several priorities at once
- A sharp eye for data, able to spot what looks off and know when to dig deeper
- Clear, direct written communication; someone who wasn't in the room should be able to follow your spec
- A proactive streak; you chase things down without being asked twice
- Comfort working with AI systems more broadly, prototyping, modelling, reporting, and using them to explore new ideas, not just as a writing aid.
