## Description

### Position summary

The Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable operation of equipment and facilities by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

### Key responsibilities

-   Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment, material handling equipment, and facility systems.
-   Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; diagnose root cause and complete repairs.
-   Respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns; communicate status and expected completion time.
-   Complete work orders and document repairs, parts used, and follow-up actions.
-   Support installation, relocation, and improvement projects (equipment moves, guards, conveyors, etc.).
-   Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and all safety rules.
-   Identify hazards, report near-misses, and help drive continuous improvement.

## Requirements

### Required qualifications

-   High school diploma or GED.
-   2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience (or equivalent training).
-   Working knowledge of mechanical systems (bearings, belts, gearboxes, motors, pumps).
-   Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and follow manuals/schematics.
-   Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic tools.
-   Comfortable working on ladders/lifts and in industrial environments.

### Preferred qualifications

-   Electrical troubleshooting experience (120/240/480V) and ability to use a multimeter.
-   Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting.
-   Welding/fabrication experience (MIG/Stick) and basic machining experience.
-   CMRT/CFM or similar maintenance certifications.
-   Experience with PLC troubleshooting (basic input/output checks).

### Physical requirements

-   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-   Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in varying temperatures/nois
