## Description

### Join Articore and help us fulfil our purpose to liberate human creativity

### What is Articore:

Articore owns and operates the leading global online marketplaces, Redbubble.com and TeePublic.com.

The Group’s community of passionate creatives sell uncommon designs on high-quality, everyday products such as apparel, stationery, housewares, bags and wall art. Through the Redbubble and TeePublic marketplaces, independent artists are able to profit from their creativity and reach a new universe of adoring fans. For the artists’ customers, it’s the ultimate in self-expression. A simple but meaningful way to show the world who they are and what they care about.

### The Role:

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up. As Finance Manager in Articore’s India entity, you'll lead all day-to-day financial operations — covering financial reporting, internal controls, payroll oversight, and compliance with Indian statutory requirements.

As the first dedicated finance hire in India, you won't be stepping into an established function — you'll be creating it. That means designing processes, implementing controls, and growing a team as the business scales. You'll serve as the primary point of contact between the India entity and the Group Finance function in Australia, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and strong alignment with group-wide standards. If you're energised by building a structure where little exists and making a real mark on a growing business, this role was made for you.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Close & Reporting: Manage the full financial close cycle (month-end, quarter-end, year-end), ensuring financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable IFRS.
- Statutory Compliance: Own all Indian statutory obligations — including GST, TDS, income tax, Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance (ESI) — ensuring the business remains fully compliant at all times.
- Commercial Analysis: Provide financial modelling and commercial analysis to support the Frankly Wearing leadership team, including margin analysis, cost reviews, and ad hoc reporting that drives better business decisions.
- Group Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to Group Finance in Australia, including variance analysis and performance commentary that supports group-level decision-making.
- Payroll Oversight: Oversee the monthly payroll process — validating salary computations, statutory deductions, and tax withholding, and reconciling payroll records against the general ledger and bank disbursements.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage and plan cash flow requirements and liquidity to support ongoing operations and business growth.
- Process & Controls: Establish and document SOPs for all core finance processes, and develop a robust internal controls framework aligned with group policies — continuously improving as the business grows.
- Audit Management: Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual statutory audit process end-to-end.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support group budgeting and forecasting cycles by preparing India's annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans in line with group timelines.
- Team Leadership: Recruit and develop finance team members as the business scales, including oversight of bookkeeping staff and broader finance functions over time.

## Requirements

Qualification and Experience

- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 5–7 years of progressive finance experience.
- Indian Statutory Compliance: Hands-on experience with Indian statutory requirements — including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and income tax — is essential.
- Financial Reporting: Demonstrated experience managing financial reporting and close processes, with strong working knowledge of Ind AS and familiarity with IFRS.
- Process Design: Proven ability to design and implement finance processes, controls, and SOPs — ideally gained in a start-up, scale-up, or greenfield environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information clearly for non-finance audiences and work effectively across time zones with an international head office.
- Systems Proficiency: High proficiency in accounting systems and financial tools. Experience with NetSuite or Tally would be looked upon favourably.

What we’re looking for :

- Builder's Mindset: You're comfortable stepping into ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, and creating structure where little exists — without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Collaborative & Transparent: You work openly with both the local executive team and the Australian Group Finance function, proactively sharing information and flagging issues early rather than working in isolation.
- Detail-Oriented & Resilient: You take accuracy seriously and follow through on commitments, even when juggling competing priorities across compliance, reporting, and team-building.
- Growth-Oriented: You're eager to develop others and build a high-performing team over time — not just manage tasks individually.

## Benefits
