## Description

**Our client, a management company, is looking for an Assistant Accountant.**

 **Main Purpose Of The Job**  

Responsible for the financial reporting function relating to company’s particular clients within the Group, and with specific responsibility for management accounts.

**Key Performance Indicators**

The key performance indicators include the following, but are not limited to:

-   Cash book maintenance
-   General ledger responsibility
-   Daily bank reconciliations
-   Maintenance of clearing accounts
-   Processing of creditors
-   Other asset/liability reconciliation
-   Fixed assets – sub ledger to general ledger
-   Cash flow forecast
-   Maintenance of general ledger to trial balance
-    Suitable and adequate documentation of all work performed
-   Month end processing and EXCO reporting 
-   Month end and Audit files
-   Ensuring compliance with tax authorities and other corporate legislation(PAYE,VAT,WHT,REVERSE VAT,APS,CTX)
-   Submission of reports to Regulatory bodies
-   Partners’ reporting
-   ALCO
-   TAC Report
-   Forecast and Budget preparation
-   Company and Group Financial Statements preparation in accordance with IFRS
-   Preparation of notes and review of financial statements
-   Liaison with Auditors/Bankers and Tax authorities 
-   To comply with company policies, regulations and rules
-   Enhancing internal operational efficiencies
-   Ensure sufficient and suitable training of all pertinent areas of the business
-   Improving levels of service to staff and customers
-   Ad-hoc projects as may be required from you by management from time to time

## Requirements

**Knowledge and skills required:**

-   Good technical knowledge.
-   Good interpersonal skills.
-   Good technical knowledge.
-   Sound business and financial acumen.
-   Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes.
-   Sound IT skills, MS Office knowledge
-   English, mandatory, French.
-   Academic qualifications and experience:

1.  4-5 years’ work experience in financial industry
2.  Exposure Accounting global business
3.  ACCA Qualified or Level 3 ongoing
